Landowner Assistance
Our Landowner Assistance Program is an opportunity to meet IVSWCD and learn about the services we can provide. We offer:
- Soil Surveys–information on the soil types on your property and what they can mean for you
- Water Quality Assessments–a conversation with our non-regulatory staff about the ways your land contributes to clean and health waterways throughout our Valley
- Erosion Prevention Consultations–our staff can meet with you on your land to discuss ways to reduce erosion from your stream or river. Our Riparian Enhancement Program offers more information about healthy rivers and streams.
- Possible project funding–do you have a project that will help the soil and water resources in our Valley? Our staff can meet with you to discuss whether your idea is a good candidate for different grant monies.
