Fall Work Day & Stream Clean-Up

Illinois Valley Watershed Council’s Work Day & Stream Clean-Up a Success!

Watershed Council Member Jan Walker applies paint during the Fall Work Day

Members of the Illinois Valley Watershed Council and community volunteers met November 12th to paint new storage sheds and remove trash from Tributary A, an urban stream that flows through Cave Junction, Oregon. Thanks to beautiful weather, the Saturday event ended ahead of schedule.

The volunteers were able to finish painting both of the Council’s new storage sheds, as well as remove trash from the nearby stream Tributary A.

The Illinois Valley Watershed Council plans a spring Stream Clean-Up to continue their efforts. Plan to join us then! Check back in 2012 for additional information.
